About Alice

Previously known as The Hereford Dietitian, I would like to introduce you to my new brand, Weight with Alice.

I am an experienced dietitian with over 14 years experience practicing in the NHS, specialising in weight management and diabetes. I have a first-class honours degree in Human Nutrition and a post-graduate diploma in clinical dietetics.

I have many years’ experience working with a range of conditions such as cancer, kidney disease, mental illness, heart disease, gastrointestinal disorders and diabetes to name but a few.  Many of these conditions can be successfully improved through dietary change and weight management.

I currently work in the NHS part-time specialising in bariatrics and weight management. I also work in paediatrics with families who want to manage their weight together. I am trained in Behaviour Change and can help you work through behavioural challenges in achieving weight management and healthy eating goals.

As well as my NHS work, I also teach at Birmingham City University and mentor MSc dietetic students in their clinical placements. I also have volunteered for The BDA’s Freelance Dietitians Specialist Group and have written articles for media including The Times.

I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council, which means in order to practice, I must comply with specific conditions. I am governed by an ethical code and must ensure that I am offering evidence based up-to-date advice. I am fully transparent in the work that I do and therefore, if I cannot help you, I will do my best to direct you to someone who can.

I offer weight management support both virtually and face to face at Nuffield Health in Hereford, and in groups sessions at various locations around the West Midlands.
